HOW PINTRIP WORKS
.
PINTRIP GIVES YOU ACCESS TO A NETWORK OF UNIQUE HOSTS ACROSS DENMARK WHO WELCOME MOTORHOMES, CARAVANS, AND ROOFTOP TENTS. THE CONCEPT IS NOT ABOUT CAMPING – IT IS ABOUT EXPERIENCES. YOU VISIT HOSTS WHO PRODUCE, SHARE, OR OFFER SOMETHING SPECIAL AND GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARK AND STAY OVERNIGHT FOR UP TO 24 HOURS. AS A MEMBER, YOU ENJOY THE FREEDOM TO TRAVEL SPONTANEOUSLY AND DISCOVER DENMARK IN A MORE PERSONAL AND AUTHENTIC WAY.
1
Become a Pintrip-member
To use the Pintrip network, you need a valid membership. It gives you access to all hosts in the app and is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
After purchase, you will receive your membership number by email. With this number, you activate the Pintrip app and get access to all hosts.
If you choose a subscription, your membership will renew automatically, so you always keep access.
2
Download the app and find hosts
Pintrip is 100% digital, and all hosts can be found in the app. Download the Pintrip app from the App Store or Google Play and log in with your membership number.
In the app, you can find hosts all over Denmark on the map – either to plan from home or spontaneously while traveling. You can also display hosts near you.
Each host has their own page with information about their offer, facilities, opening hours, and important rules on site. The app is continuously updated and new hosts are added regularly.

3
Use search and filters
In the app, you can easily find hosts using the search function. With filters, you can choose, for example, whether dogs are allowed, whether you are traveling with a caravan, or whether electricity is available.
You can also search for specific categories such as farm shop, winery, brewery, or museum – or use keywords like “ice cream”, “beer”, or “local food”.
This way, you can quickly find a host that fits your trip.
4
Read the host profile carefully
Each host has their own profile in the app with information about the location, rules, opening hours, and facilities. There you can also see where you are allowed to park and whether there are any special conditions.
Please always read the profile before arrival. Pintrip hosts are not campsites – every place works a little differently.
Important: If a symbol, for example for toilet, water, or electricity, is not shown, this service is not available there.

5
Reservation or contact before arrival
Pintrip is a spontaneous travel concept, and there is no guarantee of a parking spot. Spaces are often limited – therefore always check the host profile before your arrival.
From April 1, 2026, you can reserve directly in the app with selected hosts up to 3 days before arrival. Whether this is possible is stated in the respective profile.
If the host requests prior contact, you may call them no earlier than 24 hours before arrival.
6
Arrival and greeting
Upon arrival, greet the host and show your digital membership card. Personal contact is an important part of the Pintrip concept.
Please park only in the designated areas and respect the opening and arrival times. Say goodbye kindly when you leave, or leave a short message if you are unable to reach the host in person.

7
Stay overnight – but no camping
As a member, you can stay overnight for up to 24 hours free of charge. Please do not take up more space than your vehicle requires and do not set up traditional camping.
This means, among other things, that it is not allowed to shower outdoors, use the area as a toilet, or set up equipment without agreement.
At many hosts, you may extend your awning or use a grill – however, always ask first.
8
Use facilities only by agreement
At some hosts, you can use additional facilities such as electricity, water, or toilet for a fee. Whether this is possible is stated in the host profile.
Please always ask beforehand and clarify any payment, as the facilities are often also used by hosts, staff, or customers.

9
Support your host – the experience is part of it
Pintrip is about experiences, not just an overnight stay. Many hosts offer regional products, farm shops, tastings, or small unique experiences.
There is no obligation to buy anything, but it is a nice gesture to show interest and – if possible – support the host.
10
Guestbook – share your experience
After your visit, you can register it in the app. From 01.04.2026, you will also have the option to write a short comment and share pictures in the guestbook.
This inspires other members and gives Pintrip valuable feedback.
You can also share your experience on Facebook and Instagram to inspire other travelers.
