The Golden Rules
DEAR PINTRIP TRAVELER, WE KINDLY REQUEST YOU TO BE AWARE OF AND ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING RULES DURING YOUR STAY. THESE RULES SHOULD BE ACKNOWLEDGED AND RESPECTED.
-
A valid membership is required to use the Pintrip network. The concept is exclusively for motorhomes, vans, caravans, and cars with rooftop tents.
. -
Greet the hosts on both arrival and departure. At all hosts, you must present your membership card (digitally or physically).
. -
The stay at each host is limited to a maximum of 24 hours or one night.
. -
Respect what is stated on the host page. If there is no icon for, for example, toilet, water, and power, it does not make sense to ask.
. -
Show interest in the host’s products and services; it is a nice way to say thank you for a free and safe overnight stay. There is, of course, no obligation to purchase.
. -
Dog must always be on a short leash and may not be welcome in some places. Remember to check the dog icon!
.. -
You are not entitled to a pitch, and reservations are not possible. It operates on a first-come, first-served base. If the host requests you to call before arrival, you can only call 24 hours in advance.
.. -
Respect the arrival time and periods when the host is closed. Also, note that there may be situations where a host, for various reasons, cannot accommodate Pintrip guests.
.. -
Facilities are available for a fee. The standard of facilities may vary from place to place. Seek permission and clarify payment before using the host’s facilities (power, water, toilet, etc.)
.. -
Ask for permission before approaching or feeding the animals, make campfires, or set up camping equipment without the host´s permission. Respect the host’s private part of the property.
.. -
Leave the pitch clean. If the host allows you to dispose of trash, remember to use the proper bins. It is prohibited to empty toilet cassettes in private toilets! The Pintrip app and the back page of the guide will guide you to the National Road Directorate’s free dumping stations.
